Split PDF
Pull specific pages out of a PDF, or break it into separate files.
Sometimes only part of a document is anybody's business. A landlord needs page four of your contract, not all twenty; a school wants the certificate page, not the whole file. Splitting pulls out the pages you name and leaves the rest behind.
How to use it
- Open the PDF you want to take pages from.
- Type the pages or ranges you need, such as 1-3, 7.
- Save the extracted pages as a new PDF.
Common questions
How do I write the page numbers?
Single pages separated by commas, and ranges with a dash: 1, 4, 8-12. Spaces are ignored, and the pages come out in document order.
Is the original file changed?
No. You get a new PDF containing the pages you asked for, and the file you opened stays exactly as it was.
Can I split one file into many?
Run the tool once per range you need. Each run gives you one new document, which keeps it obvious what ended up in which file.
- Files are never sent to a server
- Free, no account and no watermark
- Runs even on an older phone
