Crop PDF
Trim the black edges off a scan, across every page at once.
Cropping trims the margins of a PDF page. It is what you do when a scan carried the edge of the desk with it, or when wide white borders waste half the screen on a phone.
How to use it
- Open the PDF with too much margin.
- Set how much to trim from the edges.
- Save the cropped document.
Common questions
Is the trimmed area deleted?
Cropping changes the visible area of the page. Trim conservatively, and check the result before sending the file to anyone.
Does it apply to all pages?
Yes, the same trim is applied throughout, which suits a scan where every page has the same border.
Will printing be affected?
A cropped page prints at its new proportions, so it may no longer match A4 exactly. Crop for reading on screen rather than for printing.
- Files are never sent to a server
- Free, no account and no watermark
- Runs even on an older phone
