Passport Photo

Crop to official document sizes with a clean white background.

Photo size
Other countries

51×51 mm at 300 DPI, white background.

Passport and ID photos are rejected for millimetres. Each country fixes its own size, and a print shop that knows the Indonesian 4x6 may have never heard of the Saudi 4x6 cm requirement. This tool crops your photo to the exact dimensions a given country expects, so what you submit matches the specification.

How to use it

  1. Choose a clear, front-facing photo against a plain background.
  2. Pick the country and photo size you need.
  3. Check the crop, then save the sized photo.

Common questions

Does it replace the background?

No. It crops and sizes the photo you give it. Photograph yourself against a plain white or light wall, which is what most specifications ask for anyway.

Can I print several on one sheet?

Save the sized photo and take it to any print shop — the file already carries the right dimensions, so they only have to lay it out.

Why is my country not listed?

The list covers the sizes we could verify against an official source. A size we cannot check is worse than no size, because a rejected application costs you a trip.
