Rotate PDF
Turn upside-down or sideways PDF pages the right way up, all at once.
Scanners and phone cameras routinely save pages sideways or upside down. Rotating fixes the orientation in the file itself, so the reader does not have to tilt their head or rotate the view every time they open it.
How to use it
- Open the PDF with the wrongly turned pages.
- Rotate until the text reads the right way up.
- Save the corrected document.
Common questions
Does it rotate every page?
The rotation applies to the document, which is what you want when a whole scan came out sideways. For a single odd page, extract it, rotate it, then merge it back.
Does rotating lose quality?
No. Rotation changes how the page is displayed rather than redrawing its contents, so nothing is re-encoded.
Why does my viewer still show it sideways?
Some viewers cache the old orientation. Close the file and reopen it, or check it in a different app.
