Scan to PDF
Photograph a document with your phone camera and get a tidy PDF.
Lay the document on a flat surface in even light, then shoot from directly above.
A photographed document and a scanned one look very different. Photos come out warm, uneven and shadowed by your own hand. This tool flattens the tones so the page reads as white paper with black text, then saves the result as a PDF an office will accept.
How to use it
- Photograph the pages, or pick photos you already took.
- Let the tones be cleaned up so the paper reads as white.
- Save the whole set as one PDF.
Common questions
How should I photograph the page?
Flat on a table, in even daylight, shot straight down rather than at an angle. Keeping your shadow off the page matters more than the camera does.
Does it straighten a skewed photo?
No. It cleans up the tones rather than correcting perspective, so shooting square to the page is worth the extra second.
Can I scan several pages into one file?
Yes. Add every page in reading order and they are saved as a single multi-page PDF.
- Files are never sent to a server
- Free, no account and no watermark
